When mind chooses

A. Doctor, what do you think it is happening to me?
B. We have just started working on it Mrs Shepard.
A. I feel nervous, and my lovely husband is waiting for me outside with my little girl. I would like to explain them what it is happening.
B. Do you usually feel nervous like now Mrs Shepard?
A. What are you saying? I'm feeling great and call me Miss Lullaby please, thats my single surname. Would you like  to go out for a date?
B. Sorry? Mrs Shep...Miss Lullaby, weren't you married?
A. Of course Doctor, how do you dare! I'm completely in love with my husband and I am a devoted wife. Why are you asking me this and calling me by my single surname? How did you find out?
B. You've already told me. I am sorry, I am confused now.
A. Don't be. You are a handsome man and I am a free woman. Let's go and have fun.
B. We have too much work to do, lady. Our therapy has already started.

There were many police cars at the entrance. The curiosity and nerves invaded all my body.
- What the hell...? What happened!
- We can't say anything for the moment. Please, return to your homes and wait for the news.
Of course, I didn't settle with that answer. I looked for somebody who could tell me more information.
- Teacher! What happened!
- A tragic murder...He didn't agree with his mark...

First day of class. The typical nerves about teachers, students...
- Hello everybody. Sit down please.
A few laughs were heard at the back of the class.
- My name is Mr. Potato, and I am going to be your tutor this year.
A potato! My teacher was a potato! What an unrealistic situation!
- Take pen and paper. You are going to do an exam.
Impossible...I couldn't answer any question.
Arriving home...
- Mom, I don't like potatoes.

The smell of the death

I was there, running through the corridors of the university listening after me the steps of the murderer. The dead bodies scattered on the floor told me that I would be the next prey. I could smell my death very close. At that moment, the alarm clock woke me up. For once, blessed alarm at 5.30 am.

My final exam

Will I pass the exam? I have been preparing myself in order to be perfect for this day: I have received so many treatments, I have acquired the ideal height and width, my skin tone is perfectly tan... The moment has arrived, the child has opened the chips bag and he introduces me in his mouth...

Back to basics.

It was only me and the kitchen.

- We'll come back in an hour an see how you've done- they said.

And there they left me alone and blocked. Ingredients and more ingredients were around me, but I could just hold a knife and a potato.
And the time was over.

- Here you have. French fries - I said ashamed. All my training thrown directly on the trash.

- Georgeously delicious. You are hired.

Who? How? Where?

I walk through the door and see the housekeeper, Ms. Amalia. Mr. Rojano is right there in the chapel talking to the landlady Ms. Mara. What is her long speech about this time?
As I am going all along the corridor I can find Mr. Alfonso going here and there nervously, squeezing a chalk with his hand. He can't wait for his students any longer. Oh! and there is newborn lovely Ana, in the arms of Leonor, who has a wicked smile today. Mr. Isaac is still lying on the printer, he seems to be asleep, but he is covered in blood.
Everybody seems guilty and innocent. The game has started and everyone is playing his role.

People and more people, endless queues, sad faces, but with a faint glow in his eyes. Maybe today is that succesful day. I saw his face...again, broken dreams.
- Nothing for today, right?
- No...tomorrow will be another day.
Return again to the routine...till tomorrow.

Our hands

Our hands are raised asking for a solution. How beautiful times when our hands were dirty of coal, when we came back home tired; when we had the security of being able to maintain our families. Because of that, we want to re-stain our hands in the mine in order to recover our dignity.
